  • Notable Features : Bultaco produced its first big-bore in 1967 as a 350 cc machine, For 1968 the MK1 Bandido was increased to 360 cc with an 85 mm bore, Stroke remained at 64 mm, The early 360 cc motors were rated at aprox 43 BHP, Two different models were available, One version was built for European style MX racing using full knobbies and a front wheel with a narrow 21 " rim, The other model was better-suited and equipped for AMA Class-C events, Displayed here is an El Bandido " America ", A-model Bandidos left Bultaco's factory in Barcelona with 19 " front wheels wearing Pirelli MotoTrial tires, Those wide block-pattern tires were popular choices for racing on American smooth track circuits or for running fast scrambles, Clip-on type handle bars were another A-model distinction and provided greater adjustability vs. the more traditional top-mounted bars found on " Europa " MX models, Carburetor is the original 32 mm Spanish Amal concentric, This Model 18 cycle was restored to factory condition and is Serial # 534, Frame & motor numbers are matching, Tires are the original Pirellis both of which are Spanish made.
