  • Notable Features : Joel Wey in Colorado built and campaigned this classic BSA dirt tracker. Components are genuine items typically used by either pro racers or serious amateurs during the late 1960's and early 1970's, The specialties are : Nickel-plated frame by Red Line Engineering, Ceriani forks, Custom shocks, Spool hub wheels with quick-change rear sprockets, Airheart disc brake & master cylinder, ARD magneto, and to enhance brand identity a factory BSA Hornet fuel tank is fitted. This motor was manufactured by BSA in May 1971 ( Factory EE code ). Motor modifications include a stout 750 cc Devimead big-bore cylinder, Norris camshaft with grind # B-650-T generating .419 " lift and 302 degrees duration measured at .020 " tappet lift, Norris valve springs, installation of a heavy-duty cast iron oil pump, and the head with ports and intake manifolds carefully matched & smoothed. Carburetors are 34 mm Mikuni type VM with round slides, Exhaust pipes are TT headers from a rare West Coast model BSA Hornet, Motor produces strong power and runs-out perfectly, Red Line frames were highly regarded for their fine-handling & strength, With a fresh set of tires the machine would be track ready.
