Year Built : 1973 Engine : 500 cc OHV Transmission : 4 Speed Electrics : 12 Volt alternator & rectifier, Point ignition, Lucas 2MC capacitor Notable Features : Purchased out of New Jersey years ago, Original condition including factory made air cleaner assembly, Equally rare are OEM electrics in perfect order, The side panel / number plates were missing and genuine NOS items were located and mounted, Tires are original Dunlop Sport knobbies with good tread but after 42 years the front is checked in several places, Obviously the cycle was not ridden excessively, All paint is factory original as are the fuel tank decals, Frame & motor numbers both match, Serial number has AH code meaning build date was January 1973, In a few more months motorcycle production at Birmingham Small Arms would be finished.
