Year Built : 1970 Engine : 74 " OHV Transmission : 4-Speed Electrics : 12 Volt alternator, Solid State rectifier / regulator, Battery and coil ignition Notable Features : 1970 FLH models rolled off the line with a redesigned Shovelhead motor, Harley's new " nose cone " motors were the first to utilize a flywheel type alternator, Current produced is 22 Amps, The alternator was a welcomed replacement for the earlier gear-driven generator and the design has withstood the test of time, Over the past 45 years Harley-Davidson's big-twin motors have evolved but to generate electric power all have incorporated the 1970 configuration, This particular Electra-Glide has been carefully maintained and ridden over 60 K + miles, Factory paint is Sparkling Blue & Birch White, Original dual exhaust has not been altered, OEM Tillotson carb and air cleaner are retained.
